CONCEPTUAL CRITERION COVERS OF DILLY'S TOP-10 NON-CRITERION MOVIES
001 - Lost In Translation
The most re-watchable movie ever. Always a cathartic experience despite its simplicity. My favourite of all time.
Made with a clear umbrella & a makeshift studio shoot.
002 - The Tree Of Life
If God made movies, he would hire Emmanuel Lubezki as his cinematographer. In my opinion, the most beautiful 139 minutes committed to film.
The re-coloring of the shirts is meant to represent the balance between force and grace explored in the film
STILLS:
I drew inspiration from my favourite two shots of the film. One is Lubezki's climbing shot and the other is the re-occuring glow of higher power.
